PURIPANDA SANTHA KUMARI MEMORIAL
Psoriatic arthritis is a chronic autoimmune disorder that often affects individuals with psoriasis, a skin condition marked by red, scaly patches. This type of inflammatory arthritis can manifest at any age, though it most commonly develops between the ages of 30 and 50.
Psoriatic arthritis can affect various joints, causing pain, stiffness, swelling, and warmth, commonly in the fingers, toes, wrists, knees, or spine. It can also lead to inflammation in the tendons and surrounding connective tissue, known as enthesitis. Beyond joint symptoms, individuals may experience fatigue, nail changes, and eye inflammation.
